Tine Thing Helseth

Tine Thing Helseth (Norwegian pronunciation: [?ti?n? t?? h?ls?t], English pronunciation: /?ti?n? t?? ?h?ls?t/, TEE-n?-ting-HEL-s?t; born August 18, 1987 in Oslo) is a Norwegian trumpet soloist specializing in classical repertoire.
Helseth started to play trumpet at the age of 7 and studies at the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo. Her teachers have included Heidi Johanessen (Norwegian National Opera Orchestra) and since 2002 Arnulf Naur Nilsen (Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra). She also appears on Didrik Solli-Tangen's second single Best Kept Secret, taken from Solli-Tangen's debut album Guilty Pleasures, which was released on September 3, 2010.

Concert and festival performances
Tine has performed with such orchestras as the Wiener Symphoniker, Beethoven Academie, Capella Cracowiensis, The Norwegian Chamber Orchestra, Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra,[5] Slovenian Radio Symphony Ljubljana, Oslo Camerata, Camerata Nordica, Württemberg Philharmonic, the Trondheim Soloists, Norwegian symphony orchestras, Norwegian Army bands and other brass and wind ensembles.
Future engagements include concerts with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie, Bielefeld Symphony Orchestra, V?rmlands Operaens Sinfonietta, and Georgische Kammerorchester.
She has appeared at music festivals including Bergen International Festival, Kissinger Summer Festival and Usedomer Music Festival.
Tine performed at the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Concert.
Tine has also performed three times in the United States so far. The first time was December 13, 2009 at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.. More recently she performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City on February 18, 2011, and the Struthers Library Theatre in Warren, Pennsylvania on February 20, 2011.
