當(dāng)1994年Stray Cats宣告解散后，Setzer出了一張更復(fù)古的Swing風(fēng)味專輯Brian Setzer Orchestra，從專輯名稱便可知道這絕非簡(jiǎn)單的樂(lè)器編制,因?yàn)閺浡髽?lè)團(tuán) (Big Band)的調(diào)性。是一張獨(dú)特的專輯.由于這種復(fù)古的音樂(lè)頗受好評(píng)和叫座，所以Setzer于1998年再以大樂(lè)團(tuán)的型式出版一張The Dirty Boogie，專輯內(nèi)重唱了貓王的電影&賭城萬(wàn)歲&中的歌曲You're the Boss，由于原本是由貓王和安瑪格麗特對(duì)唱，所以Setzer便找來(lái)No Doubt的主唱Gwen Stefani來(lái)搭檔，雖然并無(wú)走紅，但以Stefani目前的氣勢(shì)來(lái)看，這首曲子倒相當(dāng)具有意義。
另一個(gè)有趣的現(xiàn)象是: 他于1996年替阿諾史瓦辛格的電影&一路響叮當(dāng)& (Jingle All the Way)作了幾首曲子當(dāng)配樂(lè)后，似乎對(duì)圣誕歌曲蠻有興趣的,2002、2004和今年都出版了圣誕節(jié)應(yīng)景專輯。
The Brian Setzer Orchestra (sometimes going by the acronym BSO) is a swing and jump blues band formed in 1990 by Stray Cats frontman Brian Setzer. The group had success covering Louis Prima's &Jump Jive an' Wail&, which appeared in Prima's 1957 album The Wildest!. The BSO's follow up single was &Gettin' In the Mood.&
The orchestra is one of the only acts from the Swing Revival of the 1990s which still maintains a high level of popularity. The BSO is commonly seen during the December holidays covering Christmas songs and often play the Rockefeller Center tree lighting ceremony.
