Elia David Cmíral (born October 1, 1950)is a film composer. He was born in Czechoslovakia and emigrated to Sweden, moving to the United States in 1987. There, he attended the University of Southern California and scored for an independent film entitled Apartment Zero. He has also composed for Nash Bridges, Blackbeard, Ronin, Dolph Lundgren's The Mechanik, Missionary Man, Pulse, Atlas Shrugged:Part 1 (2011).,and the award-winning adventure game The Last Express. His last name is pronounced .
His mother was an actress and his father was a stage director.
