Miles Kane

Miles Kane：前The Rascals樂(lè)隊(duì)主唱和Lead guitarist（樂(lè)隊(duì)于2009年8月份宣布解散），最為人熟知的是擔(dān)任The Last Shadow Puppets 樂(lè)隊(duì)的詞曲創(chuàng)作和主唱之一，另一位是來(lái)自Arctic Monkeys的Alex Turner。Miles kane現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)開(kāi)始了自己的Solo事業(yè)，并且繼續(xù)負(fù)責(zé)The Last Shadow Puppets樂(lè)隊(duì)的音樂(lè)工作，他的首張個(gè)人Solo 專輯《Colour of the Trap》在2011年5月9日正式推出。
 
The Little Flames
在18歲那年，Miles Kane以吉他手的身份加入“The Little Flames”樂(lè)隊(duì)。在短短時(shí)間內(nèi)，樂(lè)隊(duì)便取得了一定的成績(jī)，得到了很多樂(lè)隊(duì)（比如Arctic Monkeys）和Fans的支持。他們開(kāi)始與The Coral, The Zutons, The Dead 60s 和 Arctic Monkeys進(jìn)行合作巡演。然而，“The Little Flames“成員最終因?yàn)閷?duì)于樂(lè)隊(duì)音樂(lè)定位的分歧而解散。
 
The Rascals
隨后，Miles Kane加入到了The Rascals樂(lè)隊(duì)，作為lead guitar,主唱和偶爾的backing vocals的同時(shí)，他也開(kāi)始負(fù)責(zé)樂(lè)隊(duì)的主要詞曲創(chuàng)作。樂(lè)隊(duì)擁有著與眾不同的音樂(lè)感覺(jué)，被認(rèn)為是：'awesome rockin beats' with a 'psychedelic quirk' and a 'compelling and unique dark underlying spirit'。2007年12月，The Rascals發(fā)行了自己的首張EP，雖然未登上排行榜，但樂(lè)隊(duì)被評(píng)為2008年新晉樂(lè)隊(duì)。2008年6月23日，樂(lè)隊(duì)發(fā)行了首張大碟'Rascalize' 。
2009年8月，Miles Kane離開(kāi)了The Rascals樂(lè)隊(duì)。
 
The Last Shadow Puppets
在隨同Arctic Monkeys展開(kāi)巡演的過(guò)程中，Miles Kane與Arctic Monkeys的主唱Alex Turner結(jié)下了特別深厚的友情。他們分享著對(duì)于音樂(lè)的愛(ài)和激情，在演出后臺(tái)，他們共同創(chuàng)作和演奏了新歌。這時(shí)，他們意識(shí)到對(duì)于兩人的songwriting partnership應(yīng)該有一個(gè)交代，于是，The Last Shadow Puppets誕生了。
 
兩人決定去法國(guó)西海岸找尋制作人James Ford ，并在那里錄制首張專輯《The Age of the Understatement》。新磚剛一發(fā)行，便空降排行榜第一位。&The Age of the Understatement& 作為The Last Shadow Puppets發(fā)行的第一支單曲，在英國(guó)單曲榜上曾獲得過(guò)第九的位置。在2009年全英音樂(lè)獎(jiǎng)提名名單中，The Last Shadow Puppets獲得了“英國(guó)突破表現(xiàn)獎(jiǎng)提名”。

雖然樂(lè)隊(duì)惜敗而無(wú)緣The Nationwide Mercury Music Prize，但他們已經(jīng)贏得了 Mojo Breakthrough Award，和其他各式各樣的榮譽(yù)。
 
An indie pop veteran by his early twenties, singer/songwriter and young Paul McCartney look-alike Miles Kane has played a key role in the late-noughties alternative scene, as both a member of three bands and a solo artist. Born in 1986 in Merseyside, guitarist Kane formed Little Flames with childhood friends at the age of 18, but after Eva Peterson and Mat Gregory left the band due to creative differences, he, along with bassist Joe Edwards and drummer Greg Mighall, continued as a three-piece under the new name of the Rascals. In 2007, with Kane now on vocals, they released their debut album, Rascalize, and appeared in the British hooligan film Away Days, performing an Echo & the Bunnymen cover. After supporting Arctic Monkeys on their U.K. tour, Kane became friends with lead singer Alex Turner, and due to a mutual appreciation of Scott Walker, they decided to record an album together. The Last Shadow Puppets reached number one with their debut, The Age of the Understatement, scored a Top Ten single with the title track, and received a 2008 Mercury Music Prize nomination. After Turner returned to his day job, Kane decided to leave the Rascals and pursue a solo career. In 2010 he worked with Super Furry Animals' Gruff Rhys on material influenced by Serge Gainsbourg and John Lennon. His first single, &Inhaler,& was released the same year.
