After 8 months of shows, writing, recording, more shows, more writing, more recording, and more shows, the album was done. TMTMTMFG was released 100% independently on October 6th, 2006 at a packed CD release show in their hometown of Springfield, MO. In the months that followed, the band continued to promote the record, eventually catching the attention of the Japanese record label "Big Mouth JPN," who would go on to release the album overseas in March of 2007. To date, TMTMTMFG has sold 6000 copies locally, online, and overseas.
With the pressure on to produce a follow up, the band returned to the studio in December of 2007 to work on the next album and emerged with a brilliantly executed blend of poprock riffs and clever vocals fittingly titled "Here We Go Again,"?

A Day Away came into existence in the early part of 2005 and hit the ground running. Within a few months of their first show, the band had already recorded and released a self-titled EP and garnered a reputation as one the most exciting bands in the region. By the end of the year, the band was opening for national acts and playing shows across the midwest. Looking to advance themselves as musicians and songwriters, A Day Away began work on what was to become their first full length album: Touch Me, Tease Me, Take Me For Granted.
