Impossible Dreams is to be the new album from electronic pop duo Lovers Electric. Hailing from Adelaide, Australia, this here release however is essentially an album sampler, ahead of the much anticipated second record. Having found some success through the benefits of featuring on US TV series The Hills, the band successfully toured said country before hitting the UK and Europe.

One in a Million is a dance for the charts, all synths and gyrations, recalling the likes of The Golden Filter and Goldfrapp. Although it achieves what it intends it fails to properly excite.

Whenever recalls Duran Duran and chases an obvious 80s sound. ?You play the villain, you do it so well, or is it the victim, it’s hard to tell? Without such a keen eye on success the track offers a clearer insight into what the forthcoming long player might sound like. In Your Hands is arguably the highlight here, channelling Bat for Lashes and Kate Bush, while always remaining on the dance floor.?
