Andrea

Teodora Rumenova Andreeva /Andrea/ is born and raised in Sofia city. At the age of four she was interested in art and occupied with music, painting and ballet. Her kin and family is deeply connected with the art of music. Her beloved grandmother (Andrea - Teodora has taken her name from her grandmother) Todorka Ahtarova is a former ballet-dancer and an actress in the National Theatre. Boris Karadimchev is her first cousin. Her grandmother is a viola player and her grandfather Michail Ahtarov was an orchestra conductor for many years. Andrea's other grandmother was a soloist in "Renaissance" theatre with the unforgetable Mimi Balkanska. Our great writer Ivan Vasov was impressed by her performance.
Andrea takes solfeggio and piano lessons from her aunt, who wa ans opera singer and former soloist of the Vratsa opera. She was having fun and singing with her grandfather and his quitara. Andrea started attending a classic ballet school at the age of four, followed by sports daning.
Tedi has a younger brother Yordan Andreev. Her grandmother Todorka Ahtarova has influenced the most Andrea's life. She was a photo model, ballet dancer, magnificent reciter and a great person. She was the closest person to Andrea in the first 18 years of her life. Andrea is greatfull and will be always in her heart.
Drawing is one of the strongest passions of Andrea. She draws since the age of 13 ins specialized schools. Subsequently she grduated the English language school and gave up proffessional drawing.
During her education in First Private English Language School "Whilliam Shakespeare" teodora was singing in a choir for Bulgarian folklore singing of Mrs. Baltakova. She sang in the choir for two years and won a lot of awards. She received a preposition for a pop album record, but refused in the last minute.
Year 2002: at the age of 15 wins Miss Sofia 2002 contest.
Year 2005: She wins three contests in just one season at the age 18. Teodora became Face of model agency "Xground" and signed a contract. At the contest "Supermodel Bulgaria" she won the award of the public, "Flirt vodka Supermodel" and the right to take part in "Miss Tourism" contest, in which won the first place. She was one of the most popular and engaged Bulgarian models in year 2005. In spite of her fast career, photosessions and interviews, Teodora looked at her model career more as a hobby than a real and serious engagement.
Year 2006: In May Teodora graduated the First Private English Language School "Whilliam Shakespeare"and her eleven years long education in German language at Geote Institut.
The same year she made her first steps in her musical career with the help of her producer Lusi Ilarionov. Her first song "Like unknown" was released in June 2006 and her pilot video one month later. She entered the musical stage with her stage-name Andrea, coming from her surname. Her first song became the romantical hit of the summer in one month. Andrea became face of "Select" vodka, which popularized her even more. The success of her first video stimulated her to go ahead.
In the same year Andrea met "The love of her life" as she says - Kubrat Pulev.
In October 2006 she was on the cover of "Maxim" magazine.
Andrea became a sponsor at the wedding of Azis and Kitaetza. This was and unforgetable and very happy event.
In the end of the year Andrea signed a contract with Payner Music - the biggest Bulgarian musical production company.
In December Andrea released her second song "I'm not that sort" - a cover of Lepa Brena hit song.
Year 2007: Andreareleases three video clips: "Cool tenderness", "Without you" and "Beautifull lie". She films in one of the most popular advertisement videos Planeta mobile. Andrea takes part in two big concerts in the National Palace of Culture. The summer of 2007 was fateful for the young singer, because she engaged herself with Kubrat Pulev.
Year 2008: – Andrea released her first album "Fire in blood" in March 2008. She made 14 authors songs, which was a brave undertaking for a starting singer. Andrea made a promotion of her album in Plazza Dance centre. She says that that was one of the happiest moments in her life. Two of her new songs "False happiness" and "You're gone" became favorite to the public. Andrea made video clips on both.
In May 2008 Andrea and Kubrat were anounced " The sexiest couple of 2008".
In June 2008 Andrea released a stunning video with a real movie plot to the song "No reason".
In June Andrea made the unexpected: she photographed herself on the cover of "Playboy" and amde one of the most stylish photosessions.
In July 2008 Andrea took part in Payner tour. She opened the concerts with brilliant show with impressive dressing and spectacular dances.
In August 2008 Andrea recorded her first duet song "Only mine" with the Romanian star Coti Ionita. the song became an absolute hit of the summer.
At present Andrea dreams of a holiday on a faraway island with her beloved man and describes herself in five words: temperament, ambitious, sensitive, opened, happy. She works on her next songs and videos following her motto: " Always ahead, never backwards!"
